In a bid to commemorate and celebrate the 2017 World Environment Day, the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development in partnership with The Greens and the Task Force for Conservation of the Bamenda Highlands Forests are organizing week long activities to “Connect People to Nature” as follows;

Wednesday 31st May 2017, 10:00AM: World Environment Day Quizz at the Conference Hall of the Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED-NWR), Up-Station at the Governor’s Junction, Bamenda, NWR - Cameroon

Thursday 1st June 2017, 10:00AM: Press Conference focused on the theme of World Environment Day “Connecting people to nature” at the Conference Hall of the Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED-NWR)

Friday 2nd June 2017, 07:00AM: Hike to Abongphen Forest of the Kejom-Keku in Tubah Sub Division of the Bamenda Highlands of the North West Region

Saturday 3rd June 2017, 10:00AM: Green Radio on Abakwa FM Radio, 99.0

Monday 5th June 2017, 10:00AM: World Environment Day celebrations to be presided over by the Governor of the North West Region at MINEPAT Hall opposite CRTV, Up-Station Bamenda.
