World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is celebrated around the world on December 1st each year. It has become one of the most recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on, and celebrate victories, such as increased access to treatment and prevention services.
With respect to this year's theme, "Hands Up for the Prevention of HIV, we will be carrying out a series of activities at The Greens, amongs which will include a movie screening at Government High School Kedjom Keku cenetered on the prevention of HIV, health talks on AIDS and the distribution of condoms and health magazins.
Some few days before the movie screening, we will be sending out strong messages on the prevention of HIV through poetry, music and drama in our monthy program; Black Swagger Poetry Slam. The event will be coming up on the 27th December 2016, as from 5pm at The Blue Pearl Hotel's conference room.
