Fri 18th Aug [10:00] → 18th Aug 2017

This Friday 18th August 2017 at 10:00AM, Ngalim Franklin, Founder/Executive Director of The Greens will be facilitating a training on Climate Change at the Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) located a few meters from Governor's Junction, Up Station Bamenda.
It's a free training and participants are expected at the end of the training to register on
Young African Leaders Initiative Network, take the#YALIGoesGreen Online Course and earn their certificates.
Temperatures are rising, weather is becoming more extreme and less predictable, and drought is an increasing danger for communities from Maroua to the Grasslands of Bamenda. For many around the globe, dire predictions and warnings have been how citizens have learned about the dangers of climate change.

In this course, the focus is on the science of how climate change occurs, the impact on the environment and human development, and practical and innovative solutions to address the causes of climate change while meeting the needs of the world.
