Appreciating and Advocating for Peace in the world at Black Swagger Poetry Slam

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. This year's theme is “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.

In a bid to commemorate and celebrate this year's International Day of Peace, The Greens, La Liberte Arts Group and Y'ems Group are organizing a massive online Peace Campaign on Wednesday 21st September, Peace Radio on Saturday the 24th of September at Abakwa FM Radio (FM 99.0) @ 10:00AM and Black Swagger Poetry Slam on Sunday 25th September 2016 at Blue Pearl Hotel Conference Hall @ 05:00PM.
PEACE might just be a five letter word, but it is one of the most important things we need in the world, in our continent, in our country, in our communities and in our daily lives.
Join us to preach peace and spread peace. Enjoy great moments of extra-ordinary expressions of peace in all forms of Art, especially Poetry, Drama and Music with us on Sunday 25th September 2016 @ 05:00PM
